Each correctly attempted question gives 3 marks to the candidate and an incorrectly
attempted question results in the deduction of 1 mark. No marks are added or deducted
for not attempting the question. Thus, from 2022 onwards, the BITSAT is out of 390
marks. A unique feature of BITSAT is that if a student attempts all the 130 questions,
then he can get 12 questions as bonus (4 each in PCM) to further boost his score.
However, total time allocated remains 3 hours only. So, technically speaking, the
maximum possible score in BITSAT is 426 marks !
